Unbelievable that there are people out there who would kill a dolphin, the beautiful mammal of the ocean. It was reported by the Brazilian environmental agency that illegal slaughtering of dolphins on the country’s northern coast. What is really depressing is the reported reason for the killing.

It seems that the dolphins are sold to other fishermen before the boat comes to shore to be used as shark bait of all things. In the Brazilian towns the eyes and teeth are even sold as lucky charms. Though they are claiming that the dolphins were killed accidentally, I am not so sure.
