Image In A Bubble

Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-2-2008 under General

When taking photos I must admit I love the macro settings as it gives you a totally different perspective on things. Some subjects that look dull and boring can come to life when you get up close. The thing to remember is to keep a steady hand to cut minimize camera shake.

There are always people asking me what I look like, well if you study these bubbles close you can see lots of me in the bubbles.

that is a very cool photo sire!

if I were to get a domain w/ lunar pages, then do I understand right that I have to pay for hosting space as well? I am not sure exactly how all that works. I can buy a domain w/ blogger and they will still host it for free…and I am unfamiliar w/ wordpress (which is what I think you have to use here, right?) I need EASY! any advice?

thanks!

Silken with Lunar pages you pay for a hosting package as low as $6.95 per month and you get the domain for free. As for wordpress, it is easy to set up. If you get stuck I can help you through it.

I’m not sure of the advantages that blogger offers with their domain so I can’t help you out on that one.

oh, I thought you paid $10 for the domain name and then the monthly fee as well. hm, that is good. and do you have to renew this every year? I am still sorting through the info…thanks so much for your help!

Last I heard the domain was free for life. Once a member you can also promote their services to others as an affiliate and earn extra cash.

yes, I went back and checked on that. the domain is free for life. sorry, I have been reading and trying to decide. I just don’t feel like I really have a “niche” or anything really important to say. just think it would be better to have my own domain. Am also considering making my Each New Day into it’s own domain. transferring it over…any advice on that?

hi Sire,
Awesome picture. I can’t believe you didn’t say what kind of camera you have though! Can you let me know? I have a small Casio Exilim? 7mp digital camera. It rocks (has a 2-1/2″ lcd screen on the back). I’ve never tried the macro setting though, but this inspires me. Was your picture taken with a digital “point and shoot”, or a fancy camera? ~ Steve
