Google And Paid To Post Bloggers

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-16-2008 under Making Money

For those of you who like myself have been penalized by Google because we have decided to use our blogs to generate some income other than Google Adsense, there is every chance that Google may have blacklisted us and we may never get our PR back. I hope that this is not the case but I am preparing for the worst and have started another two blogs on another domain just in case. So that these blogs do not suffer the same fate as the others I am implementing certain measures that may help to keep Googles wrath at bay.

  • 1. I will not be using any ads or badges that have anything to do with “hire me” or “get paid to post”!
  • 2. I have written my own personalized disclosure policy rather than using generic copy and paste ones.
  • 3. I will not be using any “sponsored by” or “sponsored post” tags at the end of paid post.
  • 4. Instead of a “sponsored” category I will be using another heading so as not to draw attention to it
  • All in all I think that although it isn’t fair that Google should tell us what to do or not to do with our blogs I see no reason why we shouldn’t take precautions to keep the PR we worked so hard for as well as the right to monetize our blogs anyway we see fit.

And They Say You Can’t Make Money Blogging

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-5-2008 under Making Money

It is amazing how many people are shocked when I tell them that I actually make money from my blogs. The other day I actually increased the potential for my blogs to earn money by taking a task that involved making a video and posting it on YouTube. I normally ignore these tasks as I thought it was all too hard, but I finally decided to give it a go.

You can see my first ever videomercial (I made that word up lol ) on my Well Blog Me blog. In case you are wondering that actually is my voice.

    Smorty Making Bloggers Wealthy

Posted by User ImageSire on Mar-18-2008 under Making Money

Even though I had joined Smorty almost at its inception I reckon that I haven’t been paying attention to it as much as I should. I logged on today only to notice that there are bloggers who are killing me as far as earnings are concerned. There I am with a measly $160 for 25 posts while other bloggers are well into the $3000 mark. Now that is some pretty good blogging money and only goes to show that you that blogging can make you money!

Blog Your Way To Financial Freedom!

Posted by User ImageSire on Mar-1-2008 under Making Money

Although there may be a few bloggers with very high traffic and a great PR who are will in the process of achieving financial freedom but unfortunately that does not apply to the rest of us. Still there are avenues that exist that may add a few dollars each week to our wallets. Some of this is attributed to the fact that there are advertisers out there who are willing to pay to advertise on our blogs.

The problem with the usual way of advertising on the internet is that normally advertisers have very little control over where there ad is shown, or don’t know what they are getting for their money. Project Wonderful changes that giving more control to advertisers and bloggers alike.

Bloggers and Webmasters can choose where they want the ads to appear and the type of ads that they want. Advertisers then select which sites they want their ads to run on. Project Wonderful uses what they call an Infinite Auction to determine which ads are shown and for how long. Click here to find more on how infinite auction works.

So far I am making a little over a dollar a week and it seems to be slowly growing. Don’t laugh, in this day and age every bloody dollar counts.

I have come across another way that I can assure you will add to your blog revenue. Basically it involves selling ad space on your blog or website. It is unique in that it solves the problem with the normal way for advertising on the internet where advertisers have very little control over where there ad is shown, or don’t know what they are getting for their money. Project Wonderful changes that giving more control to the advertisers and bloggers alike.

This could really be something that is too good to pass up. A real passive income earner. All you need do is set the shop up, promote it and sit back and see if it works Obviously the more you promote it the greater the potential for making money.

Even though I joined aShopFor awhile ago I was too busy to actually promote it and actually forgot all about it. Luckily I came across the link while checking my old emails and so I decided to look into it a little deeper.

Technically it is very easy to create your own shop and you can even invite your friends to join in or they could create their own shop. Your shop could easily have over 500 retailers that people can purchase from, and you earn money every time they make a purchase.

Is there a catch? So far as I can tell there isn’t one, in fact it’s even free to join.

    Keywords Important To Your Traffic

Posted by User ImageSire on Feb-1-2008 under Making Money

When Google kicked me in the guts by reducing my PR because I was accepting paid posts tasks I must admit I was a little pissed off. But after consideration I shrugged it off and decided not to worry about it and instead I thought of ways of increasing the traffic to my blogs.

Considering how in February, Net Audio Ads will be paying me for every page view I thought the you little beauty, all I need do is to get people to visit my blogs and the obvious way is to lure them from the major search engines.

I figured the best way is to pick the right topics and use popular keywords in the title and post that I knew people would use as their search criteria and then wait for the growth in traffic. So far it seems to be working.

Getting More Blogs On The Gravy Train

Posted by User ImageSire on Jan-30-2008 under Making Money

I have just finished setting up two new blogs, What A Lot of Bullshit and Scenic Adelaide so that I could take advantage of the extra revenue that I hope to get from Net Audio Ads!

This is where I will get paid every time someone visits one of my blogs and no clicking of any ad is necessary. Instead they will hear a short five second audio ad, and they only hear it once no matter how many other pages they visit.

Sure there may be some that find it annoying at first, but like everything else they will get used to it. After all, not everyone liked Google Adsense when it first came out, and look at it now. I reckon the potential for making money with Net Audio Ads will kill anything I could earn from other methods I have used to monetise my blogs.

Making A Little Cash While Providing Content

Posted by User ImageSire on Jan-25-2008 under Making Money

I joined the Voxont News Room awhile ago and although I had hopes of making some money, my main intention was to get some good and up to date content for my blogs. I must say that getting the good content for my site in the way of up to date news is working a treat and I am getting a lot more hits from Google from people wanting to keep up to date with what is going on in the world.

I especially like the ‘Odd’ news section which is where I found this little piece of buses in Mexico that are for women only. Gee, imagine the uproar if we tried to have one for men only.

Oh, as for the money, so far I’ve made $1.28. Cool huh ;)
