There can be many reason why someone may require a car rental service, ranging from interstate business trips, holidays to just making do while you car is having some major repair work done. Now while there may be be some good deals to be found with a bit of Googling, why go through all the effort of sifting through the porno and other unrelated sites when all you have to do is log onto Advantage Rent A Car to see what special deals they have for your State.

Personally, if I am to rent a car I always go for one that I can’t afford and so wouldn’t normally get a chance to drive. I reckon I am not the only one who feels like this which is probably why these guys are offering up to a 50% on Luxury and Convertible car rentals. Gee, I may even rent a Hummer and feel like King Of the Road! :wink_ee:

Not that I have had any personal experience, being a bloke, but I have heard that being pregnant for a lot of women is a pretty special experience. I did notice, in my wife’s case, that the one gripe she really had, apart from the occasional bout of morning sickness, was the luck of any decent maternity clothes. After all being pregnant is no reason for not being able to feel sexy and looking good in the clothes you wear.

Fortunately this does not seem to be such an issue today as there now exists many firms that will cater to this very important market, so that now women can feel good about how they look right through their pregnancy.

Have you ever walked into an office and looked at how it was set up and wondered to yourself what the heck you were doing there. When you consider that the first impression is the most important one it makes you wonder why some people, business people mind you, don’t invest in some decent office furniture. No-one is suggesting they have to spend a fortune either as competition is fierce and with a bit of mouse clicking it would be fairly easy to come up with a very professional looking office without breaking the bank.

Those of you who are regular readers of this blog know how passionate I am about the attributes of hosting your own blogs and websites. When you consider that a good webhosting package is a bloggers best friend I am surprised that more bloggers do not take advantage of all it’s benefits, the main one being that it gives you total control and you get to keep all the revenue raised by the blogs, unlike those community blogging sites where you only keep a percentage of it.

I reckon that the one thing that is holding them back is the confusion from not knowing what hosting company to choose. This is not surprising when you consider how many webhosting companies are out there trying to get their business. Perhaps if there were to visit The Web Hosting Geeks who have listed the ‘Top 10 Web Hosting - Best Web Hosts for 2008, it would help to convince them to take the self hosted blogging plunge.

In todays business market the bottom line is the most important thing and because of rising costs it is getting harder and harder to achieve an efficient bottom line. One has to consider that any costs saved is worthwhile especially if you can do it without getting an inferior product or service. Let’s face it, it is a competitive world out there and cost savings can be achieved by those willing to take the time to look for them.

Just as an example, if you already have a email marketing software ask yourself whether it is the best one on the market at the best price. Can you save money and thereby cutting costs by sourcing one for somewhere else? Remember that these days, more than ever before, every dollar counts.

The Perfect Toy Could Well be A Swing Set

If you ask me what is the best toy that I ever had as a kid it would have to be my own personal swing set. I reckon that swing sets are marvelous as they not only provide enjoyment for the child but also a form of exercise. It encourages them to go out into the fresh air and move around. That is a whole lot better than sitting inside watching the TV or playing those stupid mind numbing computer games.

Car Insurance Is Definitely Worth The Expense

Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-20-2008 under Special Ops

I had a mate once who bought a new car and took the time to insure it for the first couple of years but then he let it lapse and figured it wasn’t worth it anyway. unfortunately for him he had an accident and luckily he was OK, but the car was completely totaled. The thing is that apart from losing his car he had to pay for the damages on the other car as well. So, if you are wondering if car insurance is worth it the answer is HELL YES!

Positives of Computer Rental

Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-20-2008 under Special Ops

The way that technology is moving along these days, you have no sooner purchased a new computer and set it up that it has almost been superseded by a new one. While this may not be a problem for the average user there are some that really need to keep up with current advances and the best way to do this is through computer rentals. The obvious advantage, other than keeping up with technology is the tax advantage as rental is normaly fully tax deductible.

Another plus is that you don’t ever have to worry about computer repairs as this should be covered by your rental agreement. renting a computer may even be necessary for short term occasions, for an important meeting or a particular task, and renting would be the preferred option rather than buying one outright.

I have come across a site that offers a domain name analysis that would be very useful for those wanting to protect their potential internet business. It involves taking a short quiz where you answer 3 simple questions. Upon completion of the quiz you will receive a domain scorecard that analyzes your domain name in 6 key areas of domain name success.

I tried it out for my loadofbullshit.com blog and got an overall score of 1 out of ten. It will then offer you solutions in how to improve your overall score and I can see where these solutions can help companies protect their domain. An example would be a company who sells widgets that had acquired widget.com. Unless they also acquired the other extensions such as .net, .org, .us, .biz etc they would have competitors setting up business virtually next door.

Another would be taking into consideration the misspelling of your domain. Unless you take this into consideration you would be losing all the traffic from people who typically misspell, use abbreviations and even use sound alike versions of a main domain name. Unless you take this into consideration you could be losing a lot of the traffic trying to reach your site.

Considering it is a free service it might just well be worth seeing just how well your domain name score card looks.

City of New YorkImage via Wikipedia
Before I leave this world I have to make my way to visit New York because I have heard that there are so many
Things to do in New York City! let’s face it, while Americans may take it for granted, there would be countless many people from around the globe who would feel as I do. And why wouldn’t they when you consider the amount of exposure we get to it through movies and such.

The thing is that if I was to go I would want to make sure I use the services of a trusted tour company, so I Googled it and came up with Trusted Tours & Attractions. A little research showed me that they are the Internet sales division of Historic Tours of America. Something I took note of was that they are not a fly by night company as they have been a leader in the family and heritage tourism industry in the States for over 25 years. They also own and operate heaps of sightseeing tours, museums and attractions.

The thing that really appeals to me is that I will never get bored because there is so much to do there and while I will make use of the tours I would also love to do a bit of exploring on my own. The thing is I wouldn’t want to get lost so it would be great if I could win the handheld GPS system by signing up for their newsletter! How cool would that be?

I’ve heard it said that there is also a hell of a lot of things to do in Los Angeles but I reckon I will have to leave that for another time. Isn’t it great that because of the advent of the Internet we have the luxury of using online travel guides? It just makes things so much easier when you can do everything from the comfort of your own home.
