Blogging The Money Way

WHen Content May Not be Enough.

Posted by User ImageSire on Mar-6-2007 under Blogging Tips, SEO Tactics

I would suppose that a blog’s ranking should depend on the quality of the blog’s content and not on the amount of links to your blog. In the real world this would be true, the problem is that spiders wouldn’t know content if they fell off their web right into it. All spiders are able to track are links and I would say that google judges content on the amount of links leading to it as google would assume that any site with good content would naturally have have more people linking to it.

So although content is important in getting links, it would not be enough and bloggers should try SEO strategies like link exchange, using the right kewords etc to optimize their blog for the search engines.
