PayPerPost Rejected One Of My Posts

Posted by User ImageSire on Mar-21-2008 under Blogging Tips

I am usually very careful when I do my paid posts to make sure that I do not go against the TOS of any of the paid sites. After all who wants to go through all that hard work only to have the post rejected. Unfortunately, the other day one of my posts was rejected by PPP, the reason being that the preceding

Your last non-PayPerPost post must have been within the past 7 days. “We are unable to accept your post because your previous non-PayPerPost post was on [8-march]. This post we’re rejecting was written on [18-march]. Although you have non-PayPerPost post on [18-march], interim posts written on the same day as your PayPerPost posts do not count. Sorry for the inconvenience and we do apologize that you will not be able to resubmit this post. Thank you!

Gee, how am I supposed to remember every single point in everyones TOS. Anyway, those of you who write for PPP may want to keep this point in mind.

Yeah, I mean everyone can make a mistake once in awhile so a resubmission would be nice. Why were your posts rejected?

Thanks for sharing this. Just realized that they don’t count non-PPP post if it is posted on the same day your PPP post was made.

Yep, I found out the hard way, yet even so, it is all part of the learning curve. I just wanted to let people know so that they wouldn’t make the same mistake.

is this a new one? I have not had that happen before…but I guess it will be happening now, as I often do several posts a day….I did not know that the interim posts could not be on the same day…

No Silken, mine was rejected because I didn’t do an interim post for seven days and then did a post just before the paid post otherwise it would have been ok.

oh, I see. thanks for letting us know that. it is really something to keep in mind when absent from blogging.

I had put some black out dates on my profile at payu2blog. I got assignments anyway, so luckily I had been able to pop in to check on it…

Thanks for sharing your misfortune, BlogSire. It’s good to learn about these things. Not allowing you to re-submit seems a bit off, though.

I think they’re way too picky. I can understand them wanting to have a blog with some activity, but honestly, I don’t see how this situation could cause harm.

I’ve been dinged by having another paid-for post on either side of my PPP post. Again, not sure about why that’s a big deal, but I know they make the rules.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a pain Mark, but like you say they make the rules. Seeing as how I have joined several paid to post sites I am starting to become more choosy on which task to take. Thanks for dropping by.
