Ever Wonder What Creative Writing Is?

Posted by User ImageSire on May-26-2008 under Blog Reviews

Well, Creative Writing could turn out to be a broad topic and it is being tackled by a good friend of mine who is about as creative as they come. The blog is brand spanking new so I would suggest that you subscribe to her feed or you will be kicking yourself silly once this blog rises to the top blogging ranks and you were missing out on all the quality posts.

Aww, thanks honey. You’re so good to me. Ironically, the Kontera ads on the site are owned by the hosting company. I think they suck myself, but it could be worse. I’m sure it could be worse. LOL

I don’t mind them at all, probably because I use them on my blog ;)

No worries Silken. I have always said that a blogger should have their own domain as this gives the the most control as well as the added advantage of keeping all the revenue rather than having to share it as with community sites.

First as far as Lunar Pages go, in the two years I have been associated with them my blog has been down for about a week. The problem occurred because of some script taking up all their bandwidth and it was affecting other members and so I had to be taken off line until I could resolve the problem. I suppose, had I been in America rather than Australia and actually talked to them via phone rather than email it could have been resolved a lot quicker.

Second in regards to domain, take your time and pick a domain that will rank well in the search engines. I found this article to be helpful. There are more parts to it and I can post them in the forum if you wish.

And Silken you are always quite welcome to leave a comment. I hope that helps, let me know if there is anything else I can do.
