Three weeks ago I put in a swing in the backyard for my two kids. It consists of a two foot long heavy-duty card board tube (from some graphics printing material from the trade show display company I work at) with a rope through the tube, and tied to a branch in a tree. Total cost - $0 (and it looks like it cost that much), but the important thing is the kids love it! I can't believe I didn't think to put one in a long time ago. This is not to say that the kids still don't want the $3000 "McMansion" outdoor play structure from Costco, but I think my home-built swing will buy me some time. ~ Steve hi Sire,
