Sire on May-2-2007 under Special OpsThere have been a little negativity about credit cards lately and I just do not understand why. I feel it is one of man’s greatest inventions. Before credit cards were around people used to walk around with a whole lot of cash and were prime targets for robbers. Now all you need do is take minimum cash and your trusty credit card.
There is also so much competition with different companies that you can shop for the best deal and even get 0% balance transfers. If you try really hard you may even score a 0% credit card. I know some people get carried away and over do it to the extent that they get into a huge debt, but surely that’s not the cards fault. Used responsibly it is the best thing since sliced bread.

A good reason to pay with a credit card is that if you have a problem with merchandise or services that you charged to a credit card, and you have made a good faith effort to work out the problem with the seller, you have the right to withhold from the card issuer payment for the merchandise or services. You can withhold payment up to the amount of credit outstanding for the purchase, plus any finance or related charges.
As long as you use credit cards wisely there should never be any problems arising from its use.
