PepperJam Ads Now Appearing On Blogsire

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-31-2008 under Making Money

It wasn’t that long ago, only a matter of days, that I did a post on ‘Blogging For Profit Getting Rid Of Poor Affiliates‘ where I featured the PepperJam Network and I am happy to say that they accepted me in a matter of days. Naturally it is way to early to judge it on performance but there is one thing that I really like about it and that is the fact that you can actually select the companies that you want to promote. You also have complete control on how the ads appear so that they fit right in with your blog theme.

I got this one up and running in just a few minutes.

Every time the page is refreshed the next set of ads in your selected network will be displayed. Pretty neat huh?

Running a business is not always peaches and cream and this is even truer today due to added pressures of higher competitiveness and the need for keeping stricter records as well as business management tasks. This can at least be reduced with advanced technology and thanks to business performance management software solutions a lot of the mundane tasks can at least be reduced.

The ideal solution would be to have one powerful software solution, rather ran having several software packages that handle several tasks. Being able to do tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, personnel planning and other financial functions all in one package would definitely increase the productiveness of any business.

There Is Nothing Wrong In Promoting Your Blog

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-28-2008 under Opinion

When you have more than one blog it is always a good idea to occasionally link to another of your posts as this does a couple very important things. The first thing is that it provides a link to that post, which is always good PR, and the second is that you may actually send some traffic that way as well. Naturally you do not want to overdo it and it is always best to link to what you think is your best posts.

Today I want to link to a post I did on what people thought was better, the stick shift or automatic gearboxes. Naturally I inserted a Poll so that I could keep track of the responses. I also included a funny little video to fill the ‘entertainment’ factor. If you have a few seconds, please take the time to complete the Poll

New Gambling Fare On Offer AT 888.com

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-24-2008 under General, Special Ops

I reckon that there are probably a whole lot of people who are getting really bored of the same old casino sites that you find online these days which is probably why www.888.com has pulled out all stops to make their site more exciting in an effort to allure more clients.

Casino-on-Net have introduced a whole new arena called “Extra Games” and to get things really moving it offers great graphic, fast-paced alternatives to the usual stuff you find on the normal run of the mill casino sites. Then there is always the progressive jackpots and I was even surprised that I saw a picture of Shane Warne, Aussie’s Cricket fast bowler, there.

Remember that whilst gambling there is a chance that you may lose and so I highly recommend you gamble responsibly. Only bet what you can afford and remember it is supposed to be fun.

80 Injured Due To Columbian Bullfight

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-24-2008 under News

In case you have not seen the collapse of the improvised bullfighting ring in the town of Planadas in Colombia’s Tolima province I have posted it here for you. This quite amazing turn of events caused the injury of dozens of people and it was quite amazing watching it collapse as it is almost like a Mexican Wave.

Looking at the video it’s not hard to see that it was way overcrowded and I am sure that investigations are proceeding to see who exactly is to blame. I’m sure that they are going to try and pin it on someone.

Dealing With Used Cisco Deal With TCDigital.com

Cisco Systems, Inc.Image via Wikipedia

With technology consistently changing it is sometimes very hard for companies to keep up and they often wonder what to do with their old equipment when upgrading. If they choose to deal with a company such as tcdigital.com they can trade their systems in and get a very good price for it as well. These guys deal with all the top companies including IBM, AS400, RS6000, HP9000, Compaq, DEC, SUN and even Cisco. In fact they have been known to offer the best prices for used cisco systems. Not being satisfied with being the best in dealing with used servers and computer hardware they are also a leading provider in new equipment.

The Woes Of Taking Young Kids To The Races

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-23-2008 under Funny Blogs
{{Potd/2007-05-13 (en)}}Image via Wikipedia

Don’t you just love getting jokes in the email? Beats the heck out of the crappy spam emails like Viagra or ways of increasing your tits and stuff. Heck why would I, a big strapping Aussie bloke, want bigger boobs? I don’t normally post the jokes in my blogs unless I think they are particularly good, and this one certainly fits in that category.

A group of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders, accompanied by two female teachers, went on a field trip to the local racetrack (Churchill Downs) to learn about thoroughbred horses.

When it was time to take the children to the bathroom it was decided that the girls would go with one teacher and the boys would go with the other.

The teacher assigned to the boys was waiting outside the men’s room when one of the boys came out and told her that none of them could reach the urinal.

Having no choice, she went inside, helped the boys with their pants, and began hoisting the little boys up one by one holding onto their ‘wee-wees’ to direct the flow.

As she lifted one, she couldn’t help but notice that he was extremely well endowed. Trying not to show that she was staring, the teacher said, ‘You must be in the 4th grade..’

‘No, ma’am, ‘ he replied. ‘I’m riding Silver Arrow in the seventh.’ :lol_tb:

Covering All Bases For Cheap Quality Eyeglasses

Posted by User ImageSire on Jul-22-2008 under Special Ops
New GlassesImage by Nikita Kashner via Flickr

There used to be a time when people wearing prescription eyeglasses used to look at those wearing trendy sunglasses with unfeigned jealousy. This wasn’t at all surprising considering that prescription glasses were pretty bloody boring and some were actually downright ugly. Thankfully this is now past history but now we come across another problem and that is mainly to do with price.

Let’s face it, things aren’t getting any cheaper these days and what with the rising cost of living it becomes necessary to save as much money as possible wherever possible. With some diligent web surfing you can actually save quite a bit of money and this is also true for eyeglasses. I noticed from one blog that Zennioptical.com is offering some really good deals and that you can get basic glasses for as low as $8. Now that is pretty remarkable and I would hazard at a guess that this is only possible because they would manufacture the products themselves thereby cutting out the middle man.

Well that is two problems out the way but most people will tell you that things usually happen in three and I reckon that the third hurdle would have to be reliability of not only the product, but of the company itself. As an Aussie I wouldn’t have any first hand knowledge but I have heard that there has actually been some positive reports about them on Fox Newx TV. I may even come across a report somewhere they were actually recommended by The Clark Howard Show. I am sure that there would be many Americans out there who could actually vouch for this information. Well, that’s all three bases covered, now it’s up to the individual to do some research and see if they can complete the home run.

As bloggers there would probably be many of us who try to monetize them by joining affiliates. The only problem is that many of these are poor performers and leaving them on the blog merely limits the profitability of the blogs. A good blogger should be continually be monitoring the performance of the affiliate programs they have joined and discard them making room for new ones. In this way they will be optimizing their blogs to their greatest earning potential.

Keeping this in mind I am continually on the lookout for new affiliates to join. I have, just five minutes ago, joined the PepperJam Network. Having said that, I haven’t been accepted yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed as the look pretty damn good. Once I am accepted, that’s called positive thinking :laugh_tb:, I will be doing a follow up post on it’s performance once I have had time to evaluate it properly.

I reckon that acne would have to be one condition that would affect a lot of teens and even a few adults and it is just as prevalent today as it was all those years ago when I was a kid. The only real difference is that there is so many more products available today than we ever had all those years ago, at least 30 years anyway. :rolleyes_wp:

The thing is with so many products available from acne cream to facial scrubs it can be a nightmare trying to work out which one is the best. The thing is it all depends on skin type and the amount of area to be treated. There is this one site called acnecuresrevealed.net that has narrowed the search down to the 5 best acne treatments and they also have a lot of useful information on the site. At least a lot more is known today and we don’t have to rely so much on the old wives tales for a solution.
