Solve Your Acne Problem With ACNEXUS

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-28-2008 under Special Ops

I reckon that it is pretty safe to say that a lot of teens struggle with acne and have trouble finding acne treatments that do the job properly. Well I don’t know how good they are but I’ve come across a site that claims they can eliminate acne once and for all. You can read all about it at acnexus.com. It’s very reasonably priced, especially because they are running a special at the moment, and when you consider the fact that it’s guaranteed to work in 24 hours it looks like a pretty good bet.

Update On My Affiliates Performance

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-28-2008 under General

My purpose for writing this post is twofold. The first is to personal so that I can see which ones are working best for me and which aren’t. This will help me to concentrate more on the better performing ones. The other is so that it may help others in selecting which ones they may want to join as affiliates.

ClixGalore: One of my better performing affiliate companies. Allows me to pick and choose which banners or links I want to post on my blogs. Naturally I prefer the PPC (Pay Per Click) ads as every click guarantees you an income. By the amount of members that they have on their books I would say that they have a high success rate with their ads so I would suggest that they are also a great pick for Merchants as well.

Commission Junction
: Similar to ClixGalore but to this day I still have not earned a cent. I find that the greatest problem is the lack of (at least they do not make it as easy to highlight PPC ads) PPC ads. if it isn’t a PPC ad then the only way you get paid is if someone who clicks on an ad actually purchases something. No sale no pay, and so far even though I have sent hundreds of potential customers their way, no-one has actually bought anything.

Jumbo Affiliates: Similar to the other two. Not a bad performer for me and it’s probably because like clixGalore I can pick PPC ads.

SFI: I had great hopes for these guys but I am afraid it is more suited to Americans than it is for someone way down Under. If you are the type that can really build a good downline of go getters then this will be a good performer. Unfortunately mine have all turned out to be low achievers.

Naturally there it goes without saying that Google Adsense can be a real winner depending on how many hits your blogs get. One that many people do not know about is Kontera which displays relevant In-Text Ads on your website or blog.

Coupons Are A Great Way To Save Money

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-24-2008 under Special Ops

I was just wondering if they was anyone out there who does not use coupons, and if not why not. I know of friends who are always complaining about the cost of shopping and it has constantly amazed me that they never thought of using coupons to save money. I mean, just as an example, let’s say that you had to buy some toys, furniture, clothing or even home decor, why the hell would you pay full price when you could get 10% - 75% off just by using the right Target coupons? Man, you would have to be either shitting money or too damn stupid not to want to make use of that amount of savings.

Beer Bottles Used To Motivate A Symphony Orchestra

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-23-2008 under General

It is no secret that Aussie males love their beer, what is surprising though is that more and more Aussie males are attempting to find ways to recycle their beer bottles. I don’t just mean shoving it in the right wheelie bin for re-collection either.

Just to prove my point, take a look at this video which shows a very unique and entertaining use for the humble stubbie.

There are so many reasons that people should consider taking out a life insurance policy and I would suggest that the most important one is to consider what the quality of life of ones family would be like if the major bread winner was to meet an unfortunate end. Hell, even if the wife was to kick the bucket how would the husband manage to go to work and do all the stuff she used to do without some sort of financial assistance.

There is no excuse not to look into it these days especially as the Internet allows users to get any term life insurance quote with relative ease.

I sometimes thank my lucky stars that I am married and am out of the dating rat race. The thing these days is that it isn’t as hard as it used to be to find yourself a nice sheila to take out. What makes it all so different is the advent of the Internet that allows sites such as BlokesnSheilas to come into existence. This site is a dating site with a difference, as it allows those Aussies who are looking to embrace the rural way of life to get together.

So it isn’t just for the farmers as it also gives city folk the chance to leave it all behind and embrace the good clean living of country life.

Isn’t it a shame that so many people completely disregard the outside appearance of their home. I’m not just talking about the general lack of yard maintenance either, although looking after that aspect certainly wouldn’t go astray. I was more thinking along the lines of some small time renovation such as updating the outdoor lighting. When you consider the fact that for a few bucks you can change the exterior appearance of you home with just one alteration, it certainly is worth taking it into consideration.

Hell, perhaps after you throw some light on the situation you can see that the garden actually does need tidying up. ;))

SocialSparks Bad Points

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-22-2008 under Opinion

I’ve been a member of SocialSpark for a little while and I have found two particular points that I am not happy with. The first is to do with the selection of opportunities. I picked one because it offered $16.50 for a 250 word post and I thought that was fair compensation, only to find out after completing it that I was only awarded $8. This is because,

When an Advertiser creates an Opp. in SocialSpark, they are now able to set a maximum and minimum price that they are willing to pay for each Sponsored Post. Please note that this price range will not be visible to the public, only the current offer price. Once an Opportunity goes live, the fun begins!

Fun my arse, more like a ripoff.

The problem lies in the fact that a lot of the time when taking an opportunity you are placed in a queue and although you may take the opportunity when it was advertised at say $30, by the time you get that opportunity the price might be only $10 and you have no idea until after the post is completed and you see the amount presented. I feel it would be a lot fairer if they told you the price on acceptance to see if you still wanted the task.

The other problem lies in the sponsorship sector of the site. Some of the popups and tags are bloody ugly and the same rule applies to that as the sponsored posts. I’ve read a lot of negative feedback within SocialSpark itself as well as it’s blog so I will just wait and see if they listen to the general public.

I came across the term Patek Nautilus and I was wondering to myself ‘What the hell is Patek Nautilus?’ The first thing that came to mind was that perhaps it was some form of new home fitness equipment as Nautilus has always been very big with any weight training equipment, so much so that there are thousands of stars that attribute their great physique to their equipment, stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Boy, was I ever wrong! It has nothing at all to do with gym equipment and everything to do with exquisite watches. I suppose that I just skipped over the ‘Patek’ bit and concentrated on the ‘Nautilus’ part. Patek being associated with Patek Philippe watches which are regarded by many as the finest watches in the world!

How Beauty Seems To Attract The Shutter Bug

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-19-2008 under General

I took this photo a little while ago because I loved the vibrant yellow colour, the symmetry and the effect of light an shadow. Yeah I know that blokes shouldn’t be taking photos of flowers but I just can’t help myself.

yellow flower

Yep, I admit it, I am attracted to beautiful things, whether it be ones of nature or those man made, if it looks great, stands still long enough and I have a camera handy I am sure to take a photo of it.
