Blogging The Money Way

Archive for February, 2008

With the internet being so popular these days it’s no wonder that you can get almost anything online. This includes services such as getting the best quotes for your term life insurance. Being able to do this online means you don’t have to put up with pushy salesmen and that you can do it from the comfort of your own home. You could also do it at work and I am sure a lot of people do that but I don’t think the bosses would appreciate you doing during office hours.

Necessity Of Life Insurance Policies

Posted by User ImageSire on Feb-27-2008 under Special Ops

The thing with life insurance policies is that it doesn’t appeal to everyone especially to the younger generation as they figure they are bullet proof and are way to young to worry about taking out life insurance. The thing about a life insurance policy is that the only time you appreciate the necessity of one is when the unforeseen happens. When that occurs those who have it are grateful and those who don’t lament the loss of not having one.

I have come across another way that I can assure you will add to your blog revenue. Basically it involves selling ad space on your blog or website. It is unique in that it solves the problem with the normal way for advertising on the internet where advertisers have very little control over where there ad is shown, or don’t know what they are getting for their money. Project Wonderful changes that giving more control to the advertisers and bloggers alike.

Bloggers and Webmasters will choose where they want the ads to appear and the type of ads that they want. Advertisers then select which sites they want their ads to run on. Project Wonderful uses what they call an Infinite Auction to determine which ads are shown and for how long. Click here to find more on how infinite auction works.

Protecting Your Most Valued Asset

Posted by User ImageSire on Feb-26-2008 under Special Ops

A lot of people probably do not realize that a title insurance company may exist and in fact what the heck a title company insures. Doesn’t matter who you are I reckon the one most important asset a person will ever own would be their home or some other major property investment.

Usually when a person buys a home they will get home insurance which is great as this will cover it against major problems like fire damage, the roof falling in and stuff like that, but is that enough. What if the agent didn’t do his job properly and someone came up and questioned some facet of the title and it turns out that there was actually defects in the title? This could cost you big time!

That is where title insurance companies comes in. More prevalent in the US it’s purpose is to protect an owner’s or even the lenders financial interest in the property and against any loss due to title defects. If someone was to come up with a lawsuit against the title the insurance would cover the cost to fight the lawsuit up to whatever cover the was agreed upon.

So as you can see, depending on where you live and what the local laws are, having title insurance would be as important as having home insurance. You may not ever need it but it’s handy to have in case anything goes wrong.

I’m telling you, I hate being nagged by the wife just because the knobs on our cabinets look all the worse for wear and all of a sudden she wants a new kitchen. Heck, the rest of the kitchen looks great, it’s just those pesky knobs that look crappy. There is no way we can afford or even need a new kitchen so I reckon that the one way to get her off my back is to just buy some new cabinet knobs from the large selection of Door Hardware from doorhardwareplus.com.

That should get her off my back so I can at least finish one beer in peace.

Fishing By Remote Control

Posted by User ImageSire on Feb-23-2008 under Funny Blogs

Don’t you absolutely hate it when you go fishing off a jetty or something and you just don’t seem to be able to cast that line out far enough or to the right spot? Don’t you wish that there was a way that you could cast it way out there and always exactly to the right spot? Well you can, all you need is one of those remote controlled boats to which you tie your line and your lure. Then just drive it to the spot of your choice and start reeling them in.

Don’t believe me huh? Well just check this out.

If you were thinking of promoting your business, whether it be a restaurant or Accounting firm, or it may even be to promote a particular meal or product, you want to make sure that it is eye catching and one of the best ways to do that is with digital signage! Let’s face it, you certainly won’t grab much attention with some poorly designed sign and if you did it would probably be to tell the customer that you weren’t really serious about your business and that they should probably try elsewhere.

How To Treat Your Wife On Your Anniversary?

Posted by User ImageSire on Feb-22-2008 under Funny Blogs

This is definitely a question that has plagued many a married man and I think that I have just received the answer in an email. I wonder if the ethnicity of the bloke in question had anything to do with the solution to this question.

At Saint Anne’s Catholic Church they have a weekly husband’s marriage seminar. At last weeks session Father James asked Luigi, who was approaching his 50th wedding anniversary, to take a few minutes and share some insight into how he had managed to stay married to the same woman all these years.

Luigi replied to the assembled husbands, “Well, I’ve a-tried to treat-a her nice, spend the money on her, but best is that I took-a her to Italy for the 20th anniversary!”

The Priest responded, “Luigi, you are an amazing inspiration to all the husbands here! Please tell us what you are planning for your wife for your 50th anniversary.”

Luigi proudly replied, “I’m a-gonna go and get her.”
