Google Or No Google Sire Lives On

Posted by User ImageSire on Oct-30-2007 under Opinion

I ain’t all that worried about Google demoting this blog other than the fact that I will get less PPP tasks. Hell I reckon that is only temporary but all the same I feel that a whole lot of innocent bloggers and webmasters have been harshly dealt with. Then again that is life in the blogosphere, and just to show that even though I have been dealt a cruel blow it hasn’t affected the limited flow of creative juices I have in my veins.

Just to prove my point I’d like to present you with a poem called Google Is Like A Woman! Now I could have reprinted it here but that would be duplicate contend and may hurt my ratings.

If you are someone who has been stuck with a bad credit tag don’t despair because there is a way out. The answer to your situation is to show them that you are not a credit risk and that is by showing them that you can pay off a loan.
OK, I can see you shaking your head. You’re wondering how you are going to do that when no one is prepared to give you a loan. The answer, once again is simple, you go to badcreditoffers.com!

Google Upsets Bloggers And Webmasters

Posted by User ImageSire on Oct-28-2007 under Opinion

~~~
Well, it seems that the day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Yep, the thousands of bloggers and webmasters who have been anxiously waiting for Google’s latest PR update can now put their mind at ease. The wait is over and now a hell of a lot of them are shaking their heads in disbelief because all their hard work to strengthen their PR has gone up in smoke.
It seems in the latest shakeup Google has decided to kick a whole lot of us, yes me included, in the guts. This blog’s PR has gone form a PR3 to PR0. WellBlogME from a PR3 to PR2 and SBizzTech from a PR0 to PR1. Whoopee! Still I can’t complain because apparently some sites have gone from PR7 to PR4.
According to Andy Beard Google may have pissed off way too many people this time and may well suffer a backlash. Afterall if enough people get tired of Google’s treatment they may well go to other search engines especially if they feel that they have been treated unfairly.
Now we need to work out why Google has decided to treat us in such a fashion. What in hell did we do so wrong? It seems that many SEO tactics that we all so like to use may do more harm than good. So what are Google’s guidelines?
* Make pages for users, not for search engines. Don’t deceive your users or present different content to search engines than you display to users, which is commonly referred to as “cloaking.”
* Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you’d feel comfortable explaining what you’ve done to a website that competes with you. Another useful test is to ask, “Does this help my users? Would I do this if search engines didn’t exist?”
* Don’t participate in link schemes designed to increase your site’s ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or “bad neighborhoods” on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.
* Don’t use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our Terms of Service. Google does not recommend the use of products such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google.
Mmm, something to ponder wouldn’t you say?
Perhaps we should just disregard Page Rank, except for the fact that for Paid Bloggers it determines the amount of money we can earn. I was wondering if all my paid post is what has caused my loss in PR? If that is the case then I say Google’s PR can take a flying leap into the proverbial cesspool of diarrhea because I love blogging for money and no results taken from any web crawler is going to tell me any different.
So fellow bloggers what say you? Did Google knock you for a six and if so how do you feel about it?
Posted by User ImageSire on Oct-25-2007 under Special Ops
Codango Labs just released a new ASP.NET application review of XSE shopping cart. They took XSE for a whirl around the virtual store and found that its extensive features and excellent technical support made it a solid ecommerce app. They did say that its one squeaky wheel is its UI, but nevertheless, it’s a shopping cart that’s ready to roll. Hotels In Brisbane For An Enjoyable Holiday
Posted by User ImageSire on Oct-24-2007 under Special Ops
~~~

The family and I have enjoyed several vacations in Quensland and it certainly wasn’t because of the great Gold Coast Accomodation. Sure accomodation is important but the Gold Coast has so much to offer. The slogan, “beautiful one day perfect the next”, is a great description of holidaying in this beautiful part of Australia. It’s obvious from the smiles on the faces of the miriad of tourists that everyone feels the same way.

The Sebel Suites Brisbane

There is so much to do from taking the many tours, enjoying the surf and great beaches and relaxing with a good meal at the many top class restaurants and cafes. Then there is also the theme parks and if this is not enough, you could always head over to Brisbane and believe me Brisbane Accomodation is just as good. Once there make sure you check out the the Botanical Gardens and the riverside markets for some great deals. Naturally booking early means you can take your pick of the many Hotels in Brisbane.

So remember, it doesn’t matter if you are looking for exitement or just relaxing in the sun, Queensland got it all.
