I have always known that there has been a lot of friendly rivalry between the Americans and The Canadians so I wasn’t too sure what to make of this. Apparently this is a transcript of a radio conversation between a U.S. naval ship and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland. I got it as and email and I leave it up to you to decide whether it is true or not.

Canadians: Please divert your course fifteen degrees to the south to avoid collision.

Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the north to avoid collision.

Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course fifteen degrees south to avoid collision.

Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert your course.

Canadians: No. I say again, you divert your course.

Americans: This is the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Lincoln, the second largest ship in the United Stares’ Atlantic fleet. We are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers and numerous support vessels. I demand that you change your course 15 degrees north. I say again, that’s one five degrees north, or counter measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.

Canadians: This is a lighthouse. You decide.

This is a question many bloggers ask and it is my opinion that done correctly it won’t hurt your blog at all. Let’s face it most people understand that bloggers also have to make a living and so they expect to see ads on the blog. As long as you provide good and interesting content there is no problem displaying ads on your blog. Saying that I would stay clear of pop-ups and such as many people find this annoying, I know I do.

I would recommend keeping an eye on how the ads are performing and change those that are not generating income. Rather than having hundreds of ads that do nothing for you except increase the amount of time it takes your blog to load it’s best to concentrate on the ones actually making you money.

There is something a lot of people do not realize and that is that they do not have to get their frames from the same place that they get their prescription lenses. I know that I was one of those people and for many years I picked my frames from the selection that was offered to me. If I only knew I could get designer frames who also have the best range of sunglasses on the market.I would have been so much happier if I could have chosen frames from designers such as Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, La Strada and Hugo Boss. Then I would have gotten the recognition I deserved, or at the very least I would have felt so much better of myself.
