Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-15-2007 under Making Money, News

I don’t believe it! Amzon.com is getting into the grocery market, and this banner proves it. Amazon.com can offer it’s customer over 22,000 non-perishable items including some of their favorite brands, shipped to their door, just like any other Amazon.com purchase.

For bloggers, this means another way to monetize their blogs, and for the visitors of our blogs a way for them to sign up for the free shipping as well as receiving a 15% discount on Amazon’s already low prices.

There’s A Baja Real Estate Boom Happening

Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-15-2007 under Special Ops

~~~
I have had a little to do with real estate and the one thing I have found is that when you are looking at buying real estate for an investment, it’s all about location, location, location. I’ve also noticed that the latest trend in real estate is people buying property with an ocean view. I reckon that it’s the ‘prestige’ factor that goes along with ocean view properties that causes them to command such a good price.Apart from the ‘prestige’ factor many people find it the perfect place to retire, what with the ocean view and the clean fresh air that you wake to every morning. You can tell how much people love living in these areas by the look of contentment as they go for their morning stroll or jog.
It’s therefore not surprising to hear that there is a Baja Real Estate boom happening at the moment, which is only 20 minutes away fro San Diego. The boom is probably also due to fact that prices are only a fraction of those available in the US. Seeing how this is true at the moment one would assume that the time to buy would be now while the price is right. In case you are wondering where the best place is to source out these great properties it would have to be www.baja123.com
All About Hot Air Ballooning!
Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-15-2007 under Funny Blogs
Originally this was a blog review, but after waiting a week the other blogger didn’t reciprocate and so now I’ve turned it into a joke. I would of changed it to a bad review but the the other rude blogger would still get the link so I figured a nice joke would do instead.
It started when a man in a hot air balloon realised he was lost. He reduced altitude and
spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago but I don’t know where I am.”
The woman below replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You’re between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude.”
“You must be in Information Technology,” said the balloonist.
“I am,” replied the woman, “how did you know?”
“Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is probably technically correct, but I’ve no idea what to make of your information and the fact is, I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help at all. If anything, you’ve delayed my trip.”
The woman below responded, “You must be in Management.”
“I am, but how did you know?” replied the baloonist
“Well,” said the woman, “the fact that you don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You have risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you’ve no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it’s my bloody fault.”
Mortgages One Of The Best Investments
Posted by User ImageSire on Jun-15-2007 under Special Ops
~~~

I still remember my first ever mortgage, although it was quite scary at the time, it was a big step for a young bloke to take, it was definitely the best move I’ve ever made. I am now well on my way to owning my own home. If it wasn’t for the fact that I took that first major step I would now be throwing away all my hard earned cash to landlord.The interest you end up paying on your loan is never lost as your home is always going up in value and it’s always better to own your own that rent someone else’s. Even if you are worried about taking meeting repayments, you can always take out mortgage protection insurance to make sure you are completely covered in case of accidents and stuff. One thing everyone should consider is that even if you are currently paying off a mortgage you can actually remortgage your home by shopping for a better deal and save yourself heaps of money.
