How About Buying Me A Beer?

Posted by User ImageSire on May-25-2007 under General, Making Money

I’ve just discovered another brilliant plugin for Wordpress. It’s called the “Buy Me a Beer - PayPal Donation WordPress Plugin”. You can configure it to place a “Buy Me A Beer” button at the end of each post or in the sidebar of your blog. Basically it allows your readers to donate money to you via PayPal and the plugin is widget enabled.

They reckon that by adding the “Buy Me a Beer” button instead of a simple “Donate Money” button you will actually get more of a response as it has been shown that asking people to donate money by giving them a specific reason increases donations by 200%! Hey, if I can get even one beer I’ll be happy. :-)
For people who prefer non-alcoholic drinks, there is a setting to replace the beer mugs with coffee cups too!
You can get the plugin here.

So, make me happy and buy me a beer.

Isn’t it simply amazing how some people show no regard for the condition of their car? They scrimp and save to be able to buy one and then they show complete and utter neglect. Hey guys aren’t you even thinking of the resale value. Fair enough you may not have enough room to garage it but surely you can come up with a measly $25 for some car covers .Just think if you were to protect you car against the harsh elements like sun, rain and dust not only will you feel better when driving it, if you ever decide to trade it in for another model you can be sure to get heaps more than if you were to leave it to rust in the rain.

The Lionheart’s Den Is Quite Safe To Visit

Posted by User ImageSire on May-25-2007 under Blog Reviews

The Lionheart’s Den, a blog by Aussie Richard James is full of good content and photos like that of Bristol’s Clifton Suspension Bridge. It seems this Aussie who now resides in England is a bit of a photographer as well as a poet.

I found his post on “The Battle For Content” very interesting and I am sure he wasn’t referring to my blog when he states

So much of what fills the Internets wide open spaces is drivel, and badly written drivel at that.

At least I hope not.

Air purifiers are not just about removing pollutants. It’s also about removing natural air borne irritants like pollen, which can be a very nasty for those suffering from asthma and hay fever. Imagine putting up with such airborne irritants while at work or while out side and finding no respite when one comes home.Sharp air purifiers combine a triple-filtration system with exclusive award-winning Plasmacluster technology that combines passive air filtration with active air treatment. For this reason Sharp air purifiers go beyond conventional systems, and help many of those who are affected by such things as dust or allergens. If you are lucky enough not to suffer from air borne irritants, perhaps you know of someone who could make use of one of these great air purifiers. They will thank you for it.
