Blogging The Money Way

Archive for April 27th, 2007

~~~
Aren’t you getting tired of the run of the mill auction sites. I mean how boring is to put up your highest bid and then having to wait to see whether or not you get to buy the goods. Well it’s your lucky day because I came across this unique site called bid4prizes which is really cool and really different. This isn’t your normal every day auction site as this one comes with a peculiar twist. You see it isn’t the highest bidder that wins the prize; it’s the person with the lowest bid. You can win anything from a car to the latest Sony Playstation 4.
I reckon if I was to win the car, I would sell it as I’ve already bought one recently and I would donate some of the proceeds to charity. As for the Playstation, well I reckon my son would pinch that so I wouldn’t have too much of a choice about what was to happen to that prize. What would you do?
Promoting Your Blog!
Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under SEO Tactics
There are many ways you can promote your blog without spending a dime, though it does require a bit of effort on your part. One way to do it is to join sites like:
BloggerParty
BlogFeast
WritingUp
BlogCharm
Blogger
BlogEvolve
Some of thise sites like writingup blogevolve and blogfeast are community sites with a high traffic flow and so you will know you are guaranteed good exposure. They also allow you to earn a little money by keeping from 50% - 90% of your Google Adsense earnings. The way your blogs get exposure is that you can enter as your signature links to your blogs at the end of each post. Once in a while (don’t overdo it as it will be classified as spam) you may even do a post plugging your blogs in a special way. Naturally you could always link to your blog as a reference within a post. This will also help your technorati rating.
Forums are also another good way of doing this. I did an article explaining it in some depth called Forums And One Way Links and you should find it quite informative.
I’ve found it’s always best to give information out in small doses so that should do for now.
Hawaii Only A Loan Away
Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under Special Ops
~~~

There are many reasons you would want to take a loan, and usually it’s for more serious things like a mortgage or to consolidate you debts and stuff like that. The thing is that loans do not always have to be all about that boring crap. I want to have some fun with my personal loans so I’m going to get some money so that I can have a decent holiday in Hawaii. I can see myself now lazing on Waikiki Beach soaking up all the sunshine and perving on all the babes that are walking by.

A secured loan might also work but I don’t really give a damn what kind of loan it is as long as it gets me to where I want to go. Come to think of it while I’m in Hawaii I should hire a Ferrari so that I might even get a chance of getting a hot date.

Can Blogging Get You A Dragon?

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under General

Well, maybe not a dragon as such but it certainly can buy you the means for shooting one. You see last week I bought myself a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 with some of my earnings and I decided to shoot me a dragon. I have this love for dragons and I thought it would be a good idea to share that love with others on the Internet and the best way to do it was through photos. I took this photo outside as I thought the natural light would do this lovely piece of Swarovski crystal justice.

Swarovski Dragon

I gave it a bit of an Aisian background for effect and when I have time I may play around with it a little. I have posted some other photos on my
SBizzTech and
Well Blog Me! blogs which I have already touched up a little. I really like the way the Well Blog Me dragon turned out.

Now You Control Your Security With uControl

Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under Special Ops

~~~
Home security should be one of the most important and integral part of any home, not only because of you material possessions but because of the most important thing in anyone’s life, your family. Most alarms will ward off burglars but what if you forget to turn it on, what happens then? Imagine being almost at work and you have that nagging feeling that you may have forgotten to turn it on, too late to turn back now so you don’t worry about it and hope for the best. Your day is full of nagging doubts and your concentration is therefore shot.
That is when Ucontrol Link comes into the picture as it is compatible with virtually any existing home security system. By watching the three videos at ucontrol.com one learns how indispensable the system really is (demo video 1) as well as how it can be easily installed by the homeowner (demo video 2) so much so that it normally only takes 20 minutes to install.
Once you have it install you are no longer tied to the old archaic system. Now your home security has come of age and you can monitor it from any PDA, mobile phone or woke computer. Now you can see whether you’ve turned it on, (and if you haven’t you can now arm it remotely) or whether you home’s security has been breached. This is really a marvellous and essential system.
Some Blogging Tips For Paid Blogging
Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under Blogging Tips
For you guys who haven’t found this out already, and those who are new to the paid for blogging world there are a few things you have to remember in order not to be disappointed by rejected posts and finding out that the effort put into writing the post was not wasted.
The first thing to do is to read the Terms Of Service (TOS) of each site as they are all different. Some require two unpaid posts of original content between each paid post where some require only one. Sometimes an advertiser may require that you fulfill certain requirements and if you do not follow this closely your post will be rejected.
Another thing to be wary of is to always click right through to the acceptance part of the task. If you don’t you may have wasted all that time writing the post only to find that all the spots for that post have already been taken. If this does happen to you, don’t delete the post save it as you may be able to modify it for another task so all is not wasted.
Find The Quality Of Life You Seek At Asheville
Posted by User ImageSire on Apr-27-2007 under Special Ops
~~~

I reckon when you are thinking of moving home there are many things that one has to consider. This is especially so if you have kids. You have to consider if it is near local schools or at least near local transport so the kids can get to school easily. Being close to shops and other amenities would also be great.

I’ve heard it said that Asheville homes which is located in the mountains of western North Carolina has a whole heap to offer and that the residents believe it’s the place to be because at Asheville it is all about the quality of life.

Apart from the fact that it offers so much in the ways of arts, entertainment, dining and so many other attractions you also have the added bonus that real estate prices are so reasonable. It’s no wonder that it has become one of the hottest real estate markets in the United States. Homeowners aren’t the only ones flocking to Asheville; investors from all over are also showing an immense interest, and many of those with open checkbooks.

With so much to offer, one would think that if someone was looking for somewhere to move they would be mad not to suss out the lovely homes at Asheville.
