It all happened one morning when Little Johnny’s dad asks him if he knows about the birds and the bees. Johnny, who is only ten breaks out into tears and between sobs says, “I don’t want to know.”

Dear old dad is really confused by his reaction and asks his son why he is so upset, and Johnny still sobing replies.

“Oh daddy, when I was only six I get the ‘there is no Santa’ story, and then when I was seven I got ‘there is no Easter Bunny’! When I was nine you told me there was no ‘tooth fairy’, and now if you are trying to tell me that grown-ups don’t really screw, what the hell I have I got to look forward to.

Tired of your sorry looking garden because it all looks misshapen and out of proportion? I know how it feels, as it wasn’t that long ago that I had landscaped my garden and now that all the plants are grown it just isn’t what I had in mind. I suppose it isn’t really my fault because what the hell do I know about plants, but then again it is my fault because I tried to save a couple of bucks by doing it myself and now I got to do it again. So I didn’t really save myself anything at all.

I reckon this time I will get a professional who knows all about Landscape Design to come down and talk to me. If he’s the sort who will listen then he will understand what look I am trying to get and he can make my garden not only something of beauty but one that is functional as well. Sure it might cost you some bucks, but at least this time it’s going to last me for years and I won’t have to do it again in a couple of years.
