It seems that gambling sites have become really popular on the Internet and I would suppose that it is due mainly because of the comfort factor. Most people would like to do it from home where they don’t have to be jostled by the crowds or succumb to all that second hand smoke.

One thing that they should all keep in mind is that they do not fall into the trap where they forget how much they are losing. Let’s face it we all love to win but there are occasions when you do lose and you definitely don’t want to lose your house online. I usually have a nominated amount I use per session, and if that unfortunately disappears, well that’s it until the next session.

My favourite game is poker, as I find it a challenging and skilful game. The other one I tend to play is the roulette wheel. I don’t always have much luck on this one, but shit it sure is fun to play.

Wikipedia defines endowment mortgage as;

An endowment mortgage is a mortgage loan arranged on an interest-only basis where the capital is intended to be repaid by one or more endowment policies. The phrase endowment mortgage is used mainly in the United Kingdom by lenders and consumers to refer to this arrangement and is not a legal term.

The borrower has two separate agreements. One with the lender for the mortgage and one with the insurer for the endowment policy. The arrangements are distinct and the borrower can change either arrangement if they wish. In the past the endowment policy was often taken as additional security by lender. That is, the lender applied a legal device to ensure the proceeds of the endowment were made payable to them rather than the borrower; typically the policy is assigned to the lender.

Endowment policies were issued in England in the 70’s and 80’s and though the intention was that they would in the time specified pay off the entire mortgage completely, unfortunately there were many instances when this was not the case. Faced with shortfalls that they were not able to meet many policy holders were surrendering them to the issuing insurance companies for ridiculously low prices. The UK government stepped in giving people the right to use the services of sell endowment policy firms enabling them to get a much higher price.

I do not know whether or not this tip is accurate as I got it in an email, but it can’t hurt to try.

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATMcard you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states thatit is seldom used because people don’t know it exists.

It would be great if it did work and I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to try. if nothing spits out just enter the proper number.

I love to have people over but there are occasions when the conversation dries up a little and you sort of stare at the wall or follow the escapades of the fly as it wanders the room. I dare say it would be much more interesting to host games where families and friends can congregate and have fun as well as contribute to conversation topics.
