I don’t think I have ever explained why I have names this site BlogSire. Basically it’s because I am widely known as Sire and this is my blog . I just thought I would add that little trivia. The real reason for this post is that I want to bring your attention to my newly added store which I’ve called THE BIG MALL which can be accessed at any time by clicking on the link on the left.

This store allows visitors to shop online at outlets such as Wall Mart, Target, Bloomingdales, Sears, eBags and the list goes on. India is known for a lot of things, its history, architecture, the wonderful people but maybe not so much for its telecommunication capabilities. Not many people would know thattata indicom is one of the largest telecom companies in India and provides mobile telephone services, landlines, cdma, broadband services and many other services.

They are so into customer service that they have even provided a forum for customers to explore the services provided. Posts can be both negative and positive and it will do well for the company to pay attention to their customers input in order to resolve all issues. Not many would provide this avenue as part of their service and it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Making money is what this blog is all about. You may have noticed the blogs I do under the “Ads” category, these are all posts I have been paid to write, and it is quite a good extra income. However, that is not what this blog is all about, though I love making money, it was started to show people who visit my blog how it’s done. Take note of the categories section and use it to find what you are interested in whether it be Blogging Tips, Funny Blogs or Making Money, it has all been categorized.

There is something going on with PayPerPost. So many changes have been going on and it’s as if it’s nowhere near enough and these guys just aren’t satisfied. I reckon they’re planning something and it’s going to be big. The thing is what the hell could it be? It’s bound to be something that is great for both bloggers and publishers. I mean they are definitely committed to being the best at what they do so it will have to be an improvement of sorts and is bound to grow blog traffic.

I heard along the grapevine that they are going to reward bloggers with the best weekly post with some bonuses. This will include a $100 bonus as well as 50 other bloggers doing a post on the winner’s blogsite. To be eligible bloggers have to agree to the free post. Once the 50 blogs have been completed the task will be removed. In this way the first fifty who have completed the post will be eligible for the next weeks best blogger category.

What a buzz this would be, not only do you get the hundred bucks but 50 free links to your blogs. That on it’s own is an SEO’s dream come true. Imagine the jump in traffic not to mention your Technorati rating. Then Google will improve your ranking and the result would be more and better tasks becoming available from PPP. Shit, this is one rumour I hope is true.

Once again it is time for a break, and I have found that humor is the best way to revive the senses, invigorate the mind and refresh the soul. There is a saying that an apple a day will keep the dentist away, well I put to you that a joke a day will keep the doctor away. That is of course that the joke is good enough to at least elicit a good laugh or perhaps a big smile. So without further ado I would like to share with you a joke I received in an email today. There is probably also a moral to this story and that is not to gamble, as the odds are always stacked against you.

During the Great Depression, there was a man who walked into a bar one day. He went up to the bartender and said, “Bartender, I’d like to buy the house a round of drinks.”

The bartender said, “That’s fine, but we’re in the middle of the Depression, so I’ll need to see some money first.”

The guy pulled out a huge wad of bills and set them on the bar. The bartender can’t believe what he’s seeing. “Where did you get all that money?” asked the bartender.

“I’m a professional gambler,” replied the man.

The bartender said, “There’s no such thing! I mean, your odds are fifty-fifty at best, right?”

“Well, I only bet on sure things,” said the guy.

“Like what?” asked the bartender.

“Well, for example, I’ll bet you fifty dollars that I can bite my right eye,” he said.

The bartender thought about it. “Okay,” he said.

So, the guy pulled out his false right eye and bit it. “Aw, you screwed me,” said the bartender, and paid the guy his $50.

“I’ll give you another chance. I’ll bet you another fifty dollars that I can bite my left eye,” said the stranger.

The bartender thought again and said, “Well, I know you’re not blind, I mean, I watched you walk in here. I’ll take that bet.” So, the guy pulled out his false teeth and bit his left eye.

“Aw, you screwed me again!” protested the bartender.

“That’s how I win so much money, bartender. I’ll just take a bottle of your best scotch in lieu of the fifty dollars,” said the man.

With that, the guy went to the back room and spent the better part of the night playing cards with some of the locals. After many hours of drinking and card playing, he stumbled up to the bar. Drunk as a skunk, he said, “Bartender, I’ll give you one last chance. I’ll bet you five hundred dollars that I can stand on this bar on one foot and piss into that whiskey bottle on that shelf behind you without spilling a drop.”

The bartender once again pondered the bet. The guy couldn’t even stand up straight on two feet, much less one. “Okay, you’re on,” he said.

The guy climbed up on the bar, stood on one leg, and began pissing all over the place. He hit the bar, the bartender, himself, but not a drop made it into the whiskey bottle.

The bartender was ecstatic. Laughing, the bartender said, “Hey pal, you owe me five hundred dollars!”

The guy climbed down off the bar and said, “That’s okay. I just bet each of the guys in the card room a thousand bucks each that I could piss all over you and the bar and still make you laugh!”

Nearly everyone at some stage in his or her life comes across some sort of debt problem. This is especially true because of the introduction of credit cards. Unfortunately there are many people who think that having one or more credit card is like having a license to spend. I don’t think that they realize they have to pay it all back until such a time comes as they are unable to meet minimum payments and they then find themselves in financial difficulties.

I have always loved Wordpress, mainly for it’s ease of use and the amount of professional templates available for it. Another reason is also that it there are heaps of plugins that not only make live easy, but can also increase the income earning potential of your blog. We all know how you can monetise your blog with Google Adsense, but it has always been limited to residing on one of the columns or as a header etc. I’ve always wanted to be able to enter it in the post every now and again but it would never accept the code. Until now.

AdSense-Deluxe WordPress Plugin allows you to place an ad at the click of the mouse. So now I can insert;

or if I wanted to I could insert the Firefox banner,

perhaps I may even want to place the google pack banner

It is so damn easy, I couldn’t believe it. Of course you would not want to use an ad with every post as it would become too garish, you would simply place it on the ones that bring you the most traffic so that you can give it the best exposure.

Credit cards are a great boon to society for those who know how not to let spending get away with them. Those who see credit cards as a way to buy things that they can’t afford are the ones who get into trouble. You must always be sure that you can cover what you are purchasing or at the very least be able to make repayments.

I have done a fair amount of work advertising this site, using techniques that are posted here, telling everyone how they should check it out if they are interested in blogging for money. It worked in that I am getting heaps of hits from people who have been intrigued by my posts over the web. The only problem is that they do not go any further than the landing page http://www.blogsire.com/myblog/.

I understand that probably a lot of surfers don’t realize how a blog works and that the last blog is displayed first so what they are seeing is not what initially brought them to my blog, and they give up without looking any further. If they only checked the category section or the site map they would find what they were looking for. You see it’s all to do with research. If they only researched the site a bit more they would of opened up their earning potential. Instead they left empty handed.

It’s this type of surfer who will find it extremely hard to earn money on the web. They expect to have it handed to them on a plate. They are the ones who fall prey to get rich schemes. Others, who have done the research, have found the information they were seeking and I wish them all the best in their efforts to a better way of life. As for the rest, don’t be scared to dig a little deeper, and before joining anything at all do the research.
