I reckon that there are a whole lot of people with medical conditions that simply hate wearing those boring/ugly medical id bracelets, at least the women do. With Mother’s Day just around the corner the same problem arises this year as it does every year and that is what to get our mom. The problem is that you want to get something that she can use and enjoy. So many other presents are either tucked away and forgotten or may even have been (HORROR) re-gifted.

I reckon that this year I will give her the age old trusted gift basket because you just can’t go wrong with those qualitygift baskets. Happy Mother’s Day Mom.

It seems that the good old GoogleBot has done his job and has reported to his master, the great Google. In all his wisdom Google has assessed all the gathered information and has handed out all the latest PR ratings. As expected my blogs that had done all the paid postings did not change at all. I lie, I was hoping that the ratings would change as I did remove all ‘paid to post’ or ’sponsored posts’ tags and signs but to no avail. I reckon that I am permanently in Google’s bad books.

Not to worry as my latest blogs, that are only months old, have both received a PR3 rating. I intend to take paid posts for these blogs, hell they have to pay their way, but nowhere near as many, say only one per page and, and the revenue for each post has to be above the $20 range before I even consider it.

I reckon that it is pretty safe to say that a lot of teens struggle with acne and have trouble finding acne treatments that do the job properly. Well I don’t know how good they are but I’ve come across a site that claims they can eliminate acne once and for all. You can read all about it at acnexus.com. My purpose for writing this post is twofold. The first is to personal so that I can see which ones are working best for me and which aren’t. This will help me to concentrate more on the better performing ones. The other is so that it may help others in selecting which ones they may want to join as affiliates.

ClixGalore: One of my better performing affiliate companies. Allows me to pick and choose which banners or links I want to post on my blogs. Naturally I prefer the PPC (Pay Per Click) ads as every click guarantees you an income. By the amount of members that they have on their books I would say that they have a high success rate with their ads so I would suggest that they are also a great pick for Merchants as well.

Commission Junction: Similar to ClixGalore but to this day I still have not earned a cent. I find that the greatest problem is the lack of (at least they do not make it as easy to highlight PPC ads) PPC ads. if it isn’t a PPC ad then the only way you get paid is if someone who clicks on an ad actually purchases something. No sale no pay, and so far even though I have sent hundreds of potential customers their way, no-one has actually bought anything.

Jumbo Affiliates: Similar to the other two. Not a bad performer for me and it’s probably because like clixGalore I can pick PPC ads.

SFI: I had great hopes for these guys but I am afraid it is more suited to Americans than it is for someone way down Under. If you are the type that can really build a good downline of go getters then this will be a good performer. Unfortunately mine have all turned out to be low achievers.

Naturally there it goes without saying that Google Adsense can be a real winner depending on how many hits your blogs get. One that many people do not know about is Kontera which displays relevant In-Text Ads on your website or blog.

I was just wondering if they was anyone out there who does not use coupons, and if not why not. I know of friends who are always complaining about the cost of shopping and it has constantly amazed me that they never thought of using coupons to save money. I mean, just as an example, let’s say that you had to buy some toys, furniture, clothing or even home decor, why the hell would you pay full price when you could get 10% - 75% off just by using the right Target coupons? Man, you would have to be either shitting money or too damn stupid not to want to make use of that amount of savings.

It is no secret that Aussie males love their beer, what is surprising though is that more and more Aussie males are attempting to find ways to recycle their beer bottles. I don’t just mean shoving it in the right wheelie bin for re-collection either.
